Our Mission ~
“A place for broken chicks to come and be made whole in Christ.”
Grace’s Place Ministries is a restoration ministry based on the love of Jesus Christ. We are a faith-based ministry seeking full restoration of all God’s daughters, one broken chick at a time. In short: “Healed broken chicks helping broken chicks heal.”
Our Vision ~
Grace’s Place provides housing for up to 4 women at a time. It allows them to participate in a 1 year program where the focus is on their healing and identity in Jesus. The program and housing is provided at NO COST to the women.
Services provided in the home include life-skills (cooking, cleaning, time management, gardening), Bible study, worship, art therapy, equine therapy, transportation to medical/personal appointments, etc.
After a year, transitional housing will be provided. At that time, women will have an option of returning to school or obtaining a job. Women will continue classes at Grace’s Place (budgeting, stress management, balancing home/work life) and will also receive continued mentorship.
What is Grace’s Place?
~ A home for women that have experienced sexual abuse.
~ A place for single women (18 and older) to come for 1 year (2nd year recommended) and let JESUS heal them from the inside out.
~ A restoration home where women will be restored in their identity as “Daughters of the King.” (Jesus)
~ A place to come when you’re all out of answers and at the end of yourself…
~ A long-term commitment to inner healing (not a temporary safe place).
Grace’s Place is not…
~ A shelter for domestic violence, homeless, a human trafficking safe house, a mental health facility, or a drug rehab.
~ A group home, a halfway house, or a recovery home.
~ A place to come and chill in order to “figure things out.”
~ A place to come when you still have a “Plan B.”
~ A shelter for families. However, we realize that there is a need for a safe place for children, and we are working on a plan to support women with children in the near future.
